The scope of this DataBlend program includes a comprehensive understanding of the platform features, functionalities, and best practices for effective data integration. This program aims to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to effectively leverage the DataBlend platform, streamline their data integration, and drive business success.

Logistics

  • (5) 2-hour sessions over 2 weeks

  • Remote classroom settings

  • Attendees will be limited to a single partner for each session

  • Only available to registered DataBlend partners

Content to be Covered

  • Platform Overview: Participants will be introduced to the DataBlend platform, including its purpose, capabilities, and benefits. They'll gain an understanding of how DataBlend simplifies the process of data integration and facilitates the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.

  • User Interface Navigation: Participants will learn how to navigate the DataBlend user interface. They'll familiarize themselves with the layout, menus, and tools available within the platform, enabling them to navigate seamlessly and access the features they need.

  • Data Source and Data Target Connections: Participants will learn how to establish connections to different data sources within DataBlend. This includes setting up SFTP connections, cloud applications via API calls, databases, and other data repositories, allowing them to extract data for integration purposes and load to the target systems.

  • Data Transformation: Participants will learn how to transform and manipulate data within DataBlend to meet their specific requirements. This includes tasks such as formatting, filtering, aggregating, and mapping data to ensure accuracy and consistency before loading it into the target destination.

  • Workflow Creation: Participants will learn how to create data integration workflows within DataBlend. They'll understand how to design and configure workflows to automate the ETL process, including quality assessment in the data integration process and scheduling workflow execution.

  • Monitoring and Management: Participants will learn how to monitor and manage their data integration workflows effectively. They'll gain insight into monitoring workflow status, troubleshooting errors, and optimizing workflow performance to ensure smooth operation.

  • Best Practices and Tips: Throughout the training, participants will be provided with best practices, tips, and recommendations for optimizing their use of the DataBlend platform.

  • Hands-on Exercises: The training will include hands-on exercises to reinforce learning and practical application. Participants will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge by working through real-world scenarios using the DataBlend platform.

DataBlend Certification

Attendees will be provided exercises to complete between each session. If submitted and completed, these will be reviewed by the instructor at the closing of the course with the opportunity to become DataBlend Certified.

DataBlend Certified consultants and partners are eligible to implement the DataBlend product for DataBlend’s customers as well as their own customers.
